Our Story

Established in 1996 by Ian Assin, Constantia Vista is nestled on the foothills of the Constantiaberg – a large, whale-backed mountain that forms part of the mountainous spine of the Cape Peninsula in Table Mountain National Park.

Over the years, the estate has grown to 6 suites and has seen many guests returning time after time to their ‘home away from home’.

Ian, who is very much involved in the day to day running of Constantia Vista, loves welcoming new guests from around the world, and most leave as friends. He enjoys aviation, water sports and is a strong animal lover. He is aided by Siyabulela “Siya” Bonani and Gladys who have been part of the Constantia Vista family for over 15 years.

PLEASE NOTE

  • Due to the layout of the 4,500m² property, with two swimming pools, koi ponds and spa bath, and to ensure peace and safety, no children under the age of 10 years are allowed at Constantia Vista (Unless by prior arrangement).
  • The Bay View and  Pool Apartment  have 12 outside steps down to access the suites, so therefore is not suitable for anyone with mobility issues.
  • All units have fully equipped kitchens and are self-catering.
  • There are various steps throughout the property.
  • The property is not wheelchair friendly.
